Fatima Sedtal-Moberg, Attorney at Law
Fatima is Southeast Texas native hailing from Buna, Texas. She champions family above all, sharing her life with her husband and 3 lovely daughters. She enjoys period drama, travel, classical and rock music, cycling, hiking, and tennis.
Fatima is a graduate of the Lamar University Galloway School of Business with a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters in Accounting in 2012. She acquired her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2015 and went on to obtain an LLM from Boston University School of Law in 2017 from the Graduate Tax Program. She was admitted to the Texas State Bar in May 2016. She practices accounting and law in Harris County, and before the Southern District of Texas.
Fatima interned with the Texas Attorney General in Austin, Texas, in the Tax Litigation and Charitable Trusts Division. Fatima has an extensive background in tax, having spent time at a prestigious Public Accounting firm in River Oaks, and a brief stint with EY before founding Sedtal Moberg Law, where she currently provides virtual legal services in tax planning, estate planning, business startups, and general practice if the case fits. She has excellent referral connections if your case not a fit. Fatima handles light contract work for outside firms on a limited basis.
Fatima is concurrently employed with Intuit TurboTax Live Business as Tax Manager where she manages a large team of tax professionals.
Due to limited mobility, travel is limited to by necessity on a case-by-case basis.
Fatima utilizes remote technologies for meetings, hearings and processing: primarily Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype. Generative AI and Chat GPT are currently being integrated into the firm, ushering in innovative results and increasing efficiencies.
